God shouldn’t apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.  It’s the people who say He should that need to apologize to God.

In the New Testament we have a second complete new heaven and new earth do over. This time it starts with a God-man, Jesus.  The story bleeds over into all of creation, making all things new.

Now no matter how many cities become like Sodom and Gomorrah or worse, the sacrifice of God’s one and only son more than compensates for all of them. Every time a Christian suggests that God has been lenient on sin because He is not destroying some town, country or person, he is degrading the work of Jesus Christ to die on a cross for the forgiveness of sin.
