New England Clam Chowder

2-4 hours on HIGH

Ingredients
6 slices bacon, diced
2 onions, chopped
32 ounces clams, canned, drained
6 teaspoons garlic, minced
6 potatoes, cubed
3 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
26 ounces evaporated milk, canned

Directions
  • Sauté bacon and onion in a skillet.
  • Add to slow cooker with all remaining ingredients, except evaporated milk.
  • Cover; cook on Low 6-8 hours or High 2-4 hours.
  • Add milk during the last hour of cooking.
